Meta or fail?! wut..GW has about the lowest requirement for skill setups :S

Almost anything is viable, and you can cruise thru with skill bars with 1 or 2 skills on them for a large amount of the game..:S

Jeydra (just as an example of something recently posted) has screen shots of full vanqs to show this... (empty skill bars, and like orison of healing on a couple of heroes)

Jeydra proved that SoS and minions are OP. surprise, surprise!

However, the empty skillbar thing is true if you have a decent hero team behind you. (and sometimes SoS+MM+some heals is decent enough)

And all this empty skillbar nonsense proves nothing.

People play games like this to have fun - if they ain't having fun, there is really no point. If you are willing to invest hours of playtime, then you had better enjoy it.

Sure there are people/groups/clicques who have found niches as power traders/speed clearers/farmers etc., but for someone starting out, that is a long way in the future.

My advice would always be to play the game as it was meant to be played at the outset and then and only after you have some idea of the mechanics and the basic concept decide what you are happiest doing.

If, after a while you decide this is not the game for you, then find another and move on. Personally, I like this game, hence the 6+ years of playing
